Mixed Pack of 25mm x 5m Ceramic Abrasive – 80, 120, 180, 240, 320 Grit
This mixed abrasive pack contains five 25mm x 5m rolls of ceramic aluminium oxide abrasive in 80, 120, 180, 240 and 320 grit . Lasting six times longer than conventional abrasive rolls, the abrasive material on these ceramic aluminium oxide rolls fragments during use, to constantly renew its cutting edges. Remaining sharper for longer, these rolls require less pressure to use, delivering consistent cutting performance over their long life. Suitable for use on a range of materials from hard, soft and exotic woods to composite materials, metals or painted surfaces, the wide grit range allows initial coarse sanding right up to finishing, ideal for woodturners, cabinetmakers and carvers.
The sharp abrasive points slice, rather than tear through material to produce an even surface finish. The edges of the ceramic aluminium oxide do not dull before they fragment, making it a tough and durable abrasive. An open coat bond between the flexible base and the grit particles is used to allow optimal spacing between the particles for faster stock removal and reduced clogging. The grit particles are held securely in place by two layers of resin, this ensures they remain firmly bonded to the base for longer to increase the lifetime of the roll. A tough latex paper backing offers excellent flexibility whilst providing anti-curl and tear resistant properties. ©
